During the migration-phase, the postboxes are split into rollout-groups. The contents of the rollout groups are synchronized, so that the contents are the same in both postboxes (source and target) at the time the mail client of a user is being migrated. It is recommended to choose the rollout-groups according to related units; so that the mutual access to the postboxes can be guaranteed. For example, a secretary can administer her boss' appointments during the complete migration process.
