Our team
FirstAttribute AG is an independent cloud service and software company specialising in Identity & Access Management (IAM) for Entra ID and Active Directory.
Since our foundation in 2001, we have been successfully working with many well-known medium-sized and large companies in Germany and internationally.
Our dedicated team of IAM software specialists is committed to the satisfaction of our customers and users. We continuously develop our solutions and bring new ideas to market.
As a company, we place great value on open and creative cooperation. Our employees enjoy a high level of appreciation and are an important part of the constantly growing FirstAttribute family.
Our locations
The FirstAttribute AG headquarters are located in Hofstetten on Lake Ammersee, near Munich. In addition, the company has a major location in Dresden, as well as offices in Münster and in the Frankfurt region.
This presence is complemented by a strong partner network that ensures comprehensive support in large parts of Germany and the DACH region.
Through this strategic distribution of its own locations and partner structures, FirstAttribute AG ensures optimal support for its German and international customers and offers flexible, high-quality software solutions and services.
Our history
2001
Foundation of FirstAttribute AG.
The vision of FirstAttribute is to support companies in the introduction of comprehensive directory services and the development of directory-enabled applications.
2002-2008
Continuous growth of the company.
Well-known companies such as ADAC, BASF, BGW, INA Schaeffler Group and Vattenfall rely on the expertise of FirstAttribute AG. The company is increasingly establishing itself as a specialist in the field of Active Directory and migrations.
2009-2014
Increase in customer projects in the IAM area.
The FirstAttribute increasingly supports customers in the areas of self-management of identities and authorisation. A deep understanding of our customers’ requirements leads to the further development of our in-house IAM software.
The new branch office in Dresden is officially opened.
2015
Launch of IDM-Portal.
A user-oriented, customised IAM solution that maps all processes from a simple employee portal to an integrative and comprehensive IAM solution with delegation and automation.
2018
Transition to cloud provider.
Innovation and agility are part of our DNA. With our new company HQ in Hofstetten, we are focusing on cloud services and are supported by a strong partner network.
2021
New solutions with my-IAM Cloud Services.
Our new my-IAM cloud service, integrated into Microsoft Teams and other applications, enables companies to map all contacts and identities in a global directory. New services also simplify the administration of cloud groups in Entra ID.
2024
Development of the RealTalk technology.
The RealTalk technology forms the basis of the new my-IAM cloud services “RealIdentity” and “RealGroup”. Smart mapping and merging logic is used to prepare identities, groups, devices and services from different source systems and make them available for further use by applications and apps.
Now
Cloud platform for distributed IAM.
The my-IAM platform is a cloud platform for real distributed IAM, covering the smart and fast provisioning and management of identities, groups, devices and services of all kinds.

Corporate social responsibility
Our social responsibility is important to us and is reflected in a wide range of activities for environmental awareness, regional cooperation and community involvement.
An important part of our commitment is the support of local sports clubs such as TSV 1882 Landsberg am Lech and FC Hofstetten, in order to strengthen the sport and the club community in our region. We also care about the digitization of schools, which we support with donations of the latest technologies.
We also make a positive contribution to the environment: for every new customer we acquire, we plant trees and shrubs.
Our company building in Hofstetten was constructed according to the latest ecological standards and in collaboration with regional partners, with a particular emphasis on energy efficiency and sustainability. Our electric vehicles are charged on-site using a photovoltaic system, thus supporting the use of renewable energies in our daily lives.
These measures reflect our close ties to the region and our sustainable approach to business, which always takes social and ecological responsibility into account.
