PeopleConnect 1.5 released: Improved data protection and new functions
my-IAM PeopleConnect, the SaaS solution for M365/MS Teams from FirstAttribute, has been given useful enhancements and improved data protection with the 1.5 release. The new version enables the definition of attribute-based rules that control the visibility of contact data.

New features in PeopleConnect 1.5
Granular access control
The new version of PeopleConnect improves data protection thanks to dynamic filters. The filters are based on contact object types or attributes. This means that contacts can be shared with certain people only.
Example: A user in the “Finance” department only sees contacts in “Finance”.
New link button in the user profile
PeopleConnect 1.5 includes a new “LinkButton” control. This enables an external link to be called up, for example to open the user profile in another system.
Further improvements
PeopleConnect now handles various internal processes independently of each other, e.g. data processing and importing contacts via the API.
The internal distribution has been improved to increase the performance and availability of the service.
Operation and monitoring have also been optimized to ensure a stable and secure service. Further improvements have also been made based on customer feedback.
