my-IAM – The instant phone book for Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365, formerly Office 365, is one of the most widely used office applications in companies. With more and more up-to-date versions of Office solutions, users get all the contacts, information and content they need. This improves mobile work, productivity and security.

FirstAttribute’s new cloud-based enterprise service my-IAM PeopleConnect automatically creates a self-service phone book from data available in Microsoft 365. In addition, it can integrate other data sources so that it provides all contacts in the company as a global address book.

To be able to exchange information and work efficiently, employees need daily information about colleagues or structures in the company. Address books help here – if they are up-to-date. “Digital phone books are often time-consuming to maintain and slow to access data,” says Matthias Rudolph from FirstAttribute AG.

Direct connection to Microsoft 365

The M365 phone book from my-IAM PeopleConnect provides user data from Microsoft 365 Directory (AAD) as a cloud-based phone book. Likewise, it integrates other data sources as desired. The result is a digital contact list of all employees, resources and company contacts that is always up-to-date. The clearly arranged address book is available on all devices and everywhere. 

It is fully customizable, from the view of the contacts in tiles or as a list to the description of the contacts. The order of the names, as well as the labels underneath, can be determined individually: no matter if company name, job title or department.

Employee self-service – Maintain your own data

You can define different user groups with different permissions.

Thus, internal as well as external users can access the M365 phone book. They see only the data they need for their work. Employees are empowered to maintain their own data, even without IT knowledge. With this self-service feature, IT and the helpdesk are relieved. All changes made are automatically synchronized and updated in M365.
