Display Entra groups with PeopleConnect 2.1
With the update of PeopleConnect 2.1, Entra groups are now displayed. This specifically includes M365 groups and security groups, as well as their members. Search results can now be separated by “Identity” or “Group”. In addition, contacts can now be exported as a vCard and imported into third-party systems such as Outlook.

Use M365 groups as a distribution list
In PeopleConnect 2.1 it is now possible to display Entra groups and their members. When searching, select whether you are looking for an identity or a group.
The results are displayed in a well-organized tile view, similar to the identities. In the detailed view, you can see both the owners and members. M365 groups can also serve as distribution lists, allowing you to easily contact all members at once.
As with identities, the information available about Entra groups depends on the permissions granted to individual users.
Export of contacts as vCard
You can now export a vCard file for each contact. The vCard icon becomes visible when you open a contact, allowing you to send and import the file into other systems, such as Outlook.
Further optimization
The update includes a comprehensive client upgrade for enhanced stability and security. Additionally, minor bugs have been fixed, and performance has been optimized.
